ST Contemporary presents a new exhibition by Saratov artist Svetlana Lopukhova. Possessing a subtle sense of color, she began to work fruitfully in the field of easel graphics using the pastel technique. In 2011 she became a laureate of the All-Russian exhibition “Pastel of Russia”. She feels well the material of this technique and is able to express her very subtle inner experiences with this medium. There is symbolism in every artist’s work. Behind the external forms there is that mysterious inner world of the artist.
