This book rediscovers Georgia, investigating into silence of terror that covers Georgian land. This project focuses on kartvelian people and their peace: tradition, rich culture, food, friendliness, architecture, landscape, people, and war. Recalling of places and people that experienced conflicts, that resulted and rooted the trauma to this day.
Georgia has always been in the equidistant of lands, its geographical location between Middle East, East Europe and Central Asia played its role in history. This book mainly stresses on the trip around Akhaltsikhe Samskhe-Javakheti region. Getting close to South Ossetian border, which is situated in Tshkinvali region, which was bombed after 2008 war. As well as visiting refuges around post Abkhazian War camps and recalling around Rabat Castle that used to be the centre for the Ottoman Empire around Georgian Region. However, in this project the main focus was on the resettlement of Muslim Georgians during 1944, 14-15 of December in the night when KGB forces, imprisoned 120,000 Georgians into the freight wagons.
